CitySavvy selected to advise Himalayan Fund

Amsterdam/London – 4 July 2011 – CitySavvy, the pan-European financial and corporate communications agency, has been chosen as communications and IR advisor to Himalayan Fund N.V.. CitySavvy will be responsible for pan-European PR and report to Ian McEvatt, chairman of the fund.

Himalayan Fund has invested in equities in India since 1990, and is listed on both the London Stock Exchange and NYSE Euronext. The fund has a special position in the Indian market, as it is one of the rare foreign funds able to invest directly in Indian equities. Investors in the fund enjoy the benefits of a special tax treaty between India and the Netherlands. Himalayan Fund N.V. is a Dutch legal entity and is based in Amsterdam.
