CitySavvy hires Omara Nahar

Former Fortis spokesperson joins Benelux team as Senior Account Director

London and Amsterdam, 25 January, 2010 – CitySavvy, the pan-European financial and corporate communications agency, announced today it has appointed Omara Nahar as a Senior Account Director in its Benelux operation.

Omara comes from Benelux financial services company Fortis, where she served as a spokesperson and press contact, having been a key member of the media relations team from 2000 through September 2009. She helped build the banc assurer’s Corporate Press Office, and was responsible for coordination of stock sensitive news distribution, departmental contingency, news monitoring and measurement, media planning and implementation and apt use of new media.

Omara will join as of 1 February and will lead several of CitySavvy’s Benelux accounts. She will work closely with Benelux MD Anne Louise van Lynden van Sandenburg. Omara’s special focus will be on crisis communications, events and new media.
