CitySavvy appoints Richard Neve to its Board of Directors
London 7 April 2009 - Pan-European corporate and financial agency CitySavvy has strengthened its continental presence through the Board appointment of highly- experienced PR professional Richard Neve, 41.
Until March, Richard was CEO of the Dutch office of Trimedia, a 15 strong Dutch subsidiary of global PR company Huntsworth.
Richard built this firm since he established it as Neve Public Relations in 1997, and personally directed accounts like DHL SelektMail, COLT Telecom and Xerox.
After merging with the Belgian firm PR Force in 2000 Neve sold his company to Incepta plc to become Citigate PR Force in 2002. After the merger between Huntsworth plc and Incepta this company was re-named to Trimedia The Netherlands in 2006.
While at Trimedia he also advised at top-executive level during change projects at various companies and was involved in several international campaigns in a number of industries.
He started his career as a financial journalist. In 1995 he joined NBC Super Channel/ CNBC as PR Manager responsible for its operations in Scandinavia, the Benelux countries and France.
Richard plays a very active role in the Dutch media market. In 2001 he was elected as Secretary General of the Media Club International, a network for communication professionals based in Amsterdam.
