Richard advises clients on strategic media relations and crisis communications in the Benelux and beyond.
Richard started his career as a financial journalist. He wrote for FEM, Money Magazine, Quote, Esquire and the Dutch national daily newspaper Het Parool. He was contributing editor of Banking Review and editor-in-chief of the Dutch edition of Banking & Finance Magazine.
He joined CitySavvy, first as a non-executive director in early 2009 and then came on board to manage client accounts during 2010. His career is PR began in 1995 when he joined NBC Super Channel/ CNBC as PR Manager responsible for operations in Scandinavia, Benelux and France. Richard then formed Neve PR, which in 2000 merged with the Brussels-based agency PR Force, later bought by Incepta and branded Citigate PR Force. Eventually that agency was rebranded Trimedia and later, Grayling. During his Citigate/Trimedia years Richard directed accounts including DHL, COLT Telecom and Xerox. He also advised boards during crisis situations and was involved in executing several international campaigns.
