Tine van Houts, Media Partner

Tine has more than 20 years of journalism experience in both the UK and the Netherlands and provides media training, presentation training and conference moderation for CitySavvy.

Tine began her career as a reporter for several local newspapers before becoming the London correspondent for major publications including Het Parool, Haagse Post, Algemeen Dagblad and Het Financieele Dagblad.

Her broadcast experience spans major international networks, including BBC World, Visnews (now Reuters Television), Granada and BBC Radio 4. Tine also spent 16 years as correspondent for NOS Journaal.

Tine is a prominent figure in the journalism world and was awarded the coveted Professor Herman Wekker Prize for Dutch Journalism in 1998. She was president of the Foreign Press Association and is a regular speaker for the British Foreign Office's induction programme for Embassy press officers.

She has a degree from the National School of Journalism in Utrecht.
